New Headquarters Building for Nixon Hire
Nixon Hire will soon relocate their Central Support Office to a new landmark building on Scotswood Road, Newcastle upon Tyne. City West 1 features office space for up to 100 staff in a recently built three story headquarters building offering fantastic views across the River Tyne.
The building is situated less than a mile from the existing Nixon Hire flagship depot on Water Street. The company will retain this existing site as their Newcastle Depot.
Graham Nixon, joint managing director of Nixon Hire said "Despite the recession, our business has grown by a third in the past two years and we have ambitiious plans to grow at a rapid pace for the remainder of this decade. In the past year, we have outgrown our existing premises at Water Street hence our decision to split the Central Support function from our depot at Newcastle. Around 40 staff working for Central Support will relocate in phases to the fantastic facility during April/May 2012".
Graham added "The new building will greatly improve working conditions for our staff and offer a better experience for our customers".
