Charity
As a growing family company, we are conscious that the collective energy, drive and enthusiasm of our people can go a long way to helping others who are less fortunate. We work closely with three carefully selected charities each year. As part of our 2020 Vision, we plan to raise a minimum of £10,000 per year, rising to £15,000 by 2015 and £20,000 by the year 2020.
In addition to our fundraising events, we also support many registered charities each year by offering discounted prices on hire products when supplied to charity events. If you are arranging a charitable event, simply confirm your registered charity number to obtain extra discount.
Find out more about the current charities we are currently supporting below;

Teenage Cancer Trust: In July 2011, we raised over £11,000 towards The Teenage Cancer Trust via our Hadrian’s Wall Challenge. Twenty eight staff walked 48 miles across Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland over two and a half days. The team were tested to their limits with both the steep gradients and atrocious weather putting will and determination to the test. Teenage Cancer Trust is currently updating specialist teenage cancer units in many of the major cities in the North of England and Scotland. Yorkshire Aid Convoy: This small charity runs an annual aid convoy to either Romania or the Ukraine where thousands of families live in severe poverty, battling daily against lack of food, clothing, medication, education and employment. The annual convoy travels 4,000 km to deliver much needed basic humanitarian aid which is in turn donated by partner sponsors. Our Joint Managing Director, Graham Nixon, is actively involved with the Yorkshire Aid Convoy, driving one of the aid trucks and helping distribute much needed supplies to local charities.
