Filming of New Safety Videos
Nixon Hire will soon launch a range of safety videos for their range of large plant. The videos will be available for download via any internet enabled device including smart phones, pc’s and tablet computers.

Group Health & Safety Manager, Dave Makepeace, oversaw two days of filming on a site environment as the first videos were filmed by a leading production company. Commenting during the first day of filming, Dave said; “For many years, we have issued product specific safety guidelines for all equipment as well as full operator’s manuals for larger plant. The new videos give a completely new dimension in that they visually demonstrate best practice whilst using our equipment on site”.

Customers will be able to watch the short videos on receipt of equipment by scanning a unique barcode on despatch notes, decals on each machine or simply following web links in our latest edition of The Essential Catalogue which is due for release in April 2012. Dave also commented; “Our new range of safety videos will clearly demonstrate our absolute commitment to safety and our adaptability to new technology again proving that Nixon Hire leads the way rather than pays lip service to safety on site”.

Initial videos will focus on Dumpers, Rollers, Excavators, Compressors, Telehandlers and Towerlights and will be available in April 2012.
