As Logistics Controller, you will have a good working knowledge of the transport sector and a professional and organised approach to work in a busy, pressurised environment. Tasked with the efficient coordination of inter-depot, inbound and outbound distribution to improve the both utilisation of own fleet and third party transport, this role is integral to providing both outstanding delivery to all stakeholders and a support function to service and compliance part of the team.
- Strong Logistics background
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a strong commercial awareness of transport operations
- Experience of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of Routing & Scheduling and PDAs.
- A CPC qualification is desirable.
